	Enclosed is my check for $100.

	As I said on the telephone to Donald McIntosh, I am an atheist.
However, I feel strongly that the ACLU should not be allowed to
bully localities into changing their customs beyond what is necessary
to prevent persecution of nonconformist people.  There is nothing
about not believing in God that demands such uncharitable behavior.

	I suppose that taking this position is related to the fact that
as an atheist child I was never made to suffer for my opinions by the
believing majority.

	Yours for civil liberties.
